
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his parents and injuring four other individuals in a mass shooting incident in southern Spain. Police confirmed the arrest following the event that occurred in the town of El Ejido, near AlmerÃa.
Authorities reported that the shooting took place at approximately 23:00 local time (22:00 BST) on Monday. The incident resulted in two fatalities and left four others with serious injuries, who have since been transported to a hospital for medical attention.
Investigation Details
Among the injured are two children. Local media outlets have identified one of the injured children as the suspect's seven-month-old son. At the same time, reports indicate that an 18-month-old baby and a 60-year-old man were also among those wounded in the attack.
Spanish authorities have not yet formally released the identities of either the suspect or the victims involved in the shooting. The suspect reportedly fled the scene briefly before surrendering himself to a local police station, according to information from Europa Press.

The Guardia Civil has initiated an investigation into the attack. The primary objective of the ongoing inquiry is to establish a possible motive behind the shooting.
